Our Story
Darkside Media Studio is the creative hub of Vancouver artist and producer Kerry Badgley. Originally launched in 2005 under the name RadioWaves Canada, the project studio has always been a hands-on, passion-driven space for making music. In 2010, it was rebranded as Darkside Media, a nod to Kerry’s debut album Darkside, and a reflection of the evolving sound and vision behind the studio’s work. In 2022, the studio underwent a major technological upgrade.Over the years, the studio has grown into a trusted workspace for local independent artists looking for a collaborative and low-pressure environment to shape their sound. While not a commercial studio in the traditional sense, Darkside Media has quietly carved out its own path—part workshop, part experimental lab—tailored to the needs of the Greater Vancouver-area artists who call it home.From songwriting and production to mixing and media support, graphics and web design, Kerry brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every project that comes through the door.
